Review
The software will enhance Drawing and conceptual skills using geometry drawing tools on the computer screen. The Drawing Tools consist of Line, Circle, Square and Triangle. They are placed on the side in a box with buttons to select the individual drawing tools. The cursor changes to these shapes for immediate placement while drawing. The Slider options enable the Line width and cursor speed to be changed. The reduced speed of the cursor controls the end point better for drawing a short line.
The Edit Menu can be used to change Background, Line and Fill, Random point and Auto fill colors. The Drawing Options enable Normal Lines and Invert Lines. The Invert line erases whenever it draws over something. To move the point the cursor has to be clicked at the desired position and then un-clicked without moving the mouse. If the mouse moves while the button is pressed, it functions as an eraser. The Main window is the working area and just below that there are two prominent Red Knobs to manipulate the cursor in X and Y directions. The value of the X and Y Coordinates are displayed immediately beside the Red Knobs. The Line Color, Back Color and Fill Color can be changed from the Color Settings box. The Back color changes the color of the back ground working area. The Line color changes the color of the objects. The Fill color makes a solid colored object. The two square icons in the Color Tools box are for Random color generation (mixed colors) and Solid color. The software saves image files in GMT, JPEG or BMP formats. The images are printed directly to the Printer. The software does not run on Windows Vista platform. The Interface design is well suited for use by Kids. The help menu is elaborate and is very helpful for users. |
